Erica Williams, MSW, LCSW
Erica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience caring for individuals and families experiencing a variety of psychosocial challenges. She earned her Master of Social Work at the University of Washington in 2013, after having worked in the nonprofit space at home and abroad following her graduation from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 2007.
Erica has since practiced clinical social work in a variety of settings including 1:1 therapy with adults and adolescents, inpatient psychiatry, the mental health court system, adult and pediatric intensive care, palliative care, emergency rooms and on a multidisciplinary ethics consult team while working for a large hospital system in Seattle, WA. She has completed two years of continuing education in Spiritual Psychology through the University of Santa Monica and has over 400 hours of training in the practice, philosophy and teaching of traditional yoga. Erica is currently receiving training in Somatic Experiencing (SE)™ and will earn her Somatic Experiencing Practitioner certification in 2027.
Erica views inner work as the most courageous, meaningful and transformational work a person can do. Thus, sitting with clients is an honor and a privilege..and it can be a lot of fun!
When out of the therapy office Erica enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, trail running with her 4-legged friend Karl, writing, practicing yoga, being a present Auntie to her nephews and nieces, and fulfilling her childhood wish of becoming an equestrian by riding her beloved horse and ultimate teacher, Teddy.
